Nose Pronounced intense aromas. Ripe fruits, black cherry, blackcurrant, plum, blackberry, smoke, wet wood, violet, fig, cedar and vanilla.
Palate The oak is quite dominant but is balanced from the fruity character and spices creating a plethora of flavours in your palate. This balanced and complex wine is also high in tannins, which combination creates a wonderful aftertaste as well. Its ageing potential gives the wine many potential tertiary aromas, including plum, tobacco, mushrooms and coffee.
Best served at 15-18 °C
